Privacy Policy

Summary

BettyGym is a personal workout logger for iPhone. It does not require an account, does not use advertising, and does not send your training or profile data to our servers. What you log stays on your device unless you export it yourself.

Who we are

BettyGym is published as an independent iOS app (bundle identifier com.namivan.BettiGym). For privacy questions, email [email protected].

Data we collect

We do not collect personal data on a server. The App Store privacy nutrition label for BettyGym is Data Not Collected.

The app stores the following information locally on your iPhone:

• Profile details you enter (name, sex, height, weight, optional birth date)
• Exercises you keep or create, including favorites
• Workout logs (date, sets, reps, weights, workload, intensity)

This information is stored with Apple’s SwiftData framework in the app’s sandbox. It is not uploaded, synced, or shared with us.

Health information

Workout logs can reflect physical activity. BettyGym does not integrate with Apple Health, HealthKit, or any third-party health platform. Logs never leave the app unless you export them.

Tracking, analytics, and ads

BettyGym does not use tracking, advertising identifiers, analytics SDKs, crash reporters that upload data, or social logins. We do not sell data. We do not use the data for third-party advertising.

Export and import

You can export a JSON backup or a CSV of logs and share those files through iOS share sheet (Files, Mail, AirDrop, and similar). Importing a compatible file merges it into the on-device database. Once a file leaves the app, its privacy depends on where you send it.

Backups

If iCloud Backup or a computer backup includes this app’s container, Apple’s backup systems may copy the local database as part of a device backup. That is controlled by your Apple ID and device settings, not by BettyGym servers.

Children

BettyGym is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from children. The suggested age rating is 4+ because the app contains no objectionable content.

Profile deletion

BettyGym does not create an online account. The name and body details you enter live only on the device. To delete them: open Profile → Account → Delete profile & all data. That removes the profile, exercises, and logs from that iPhone and returns you to first-launch setup. Uninstalling the app also deletes the local database.

Your choices

• Edit or delete individual logs and exercises in the app
• Clear logs before a date, or clear all logs, from Profile
• Delete profile and all data from Profile → Account (returns you to setup on this device)
• Delete the app to remove all local data from that device

Third parties

Distribution through the Apple App Store is subject to Apple’s terms. We do not embed other third-party data processors in the app.

Changes

If the app starts sending data off-device (for example iCloud sync or analytics), this policy will be updated and the App Store privacy labels will be updated before that version ships.
